Vegas Now Casino Review
Vegas Now is a Curaçao-licensed online casino available in New Zealand. It has an extensive games room with over 14,000 titles and includes live dealer games and a sportsbook.
If you’re looking for a New Zealand online casino that works with top developers and bundles most games and betting options into one platform, it could be ideal. Just make sure you read this Vegas Now casino review first—I’ll go over the details and show you what to expect.
Bonuses

Most casinos offer welcome bonuses to attract new players, but there’s usually a catch, such as a large bonus with equally large wagering requirements.
However, that’s not the case here. The welcome bonus at Vegas Now really surprised me, as it goes big on the first deposit offer, spans three more deposit bonuses, and maintains a 40x wagering requirement and a high maximum win throughout.
Free spins are released in batches of 40 per day, and while there are multiple country restrictions on all casino bonuses, they don’t include New Zealand.
The high rollers among you can opt for a high-roller welcome bonus. This bonus comes with a much higher cap and a 60-day VIP trial but requires a hefty minimum deposit of NZ$500.
A little too rich for my blood, but worth a look if you typically deposit that much.
Either way, I recommend checking contribution requirements first. You can meet wagering requirements with roulette, but only 25% of wagers apply, and this drops to 10% for blackjack/game shows, and 0% for everything else. Most pokies count for 100%, but many are excluded.
| Deposit | Offer | Max. bonus | Free spins | Min. deposit | Wagering requirements | Max. win | Promo code |
| 🏆 1st | 150% | NZ$1,500 | 🎰 200 | NZ$20 | 40x (bonus only) | NZ5,000+NZ300 | N/A |
| 🏆 2nd | 100% | NZ$2,000 | 🎰 50 | NZ$20 | 40x (bonus only) | NZ5,000+NZ300 | VEGAS2 |
| 🏆 3rd | 50% | NZ$2,000 | 🎰 50 | NZ$20 | 40x (bonus only) | NZ5,000+NZ300 | VEGAS3 |
| 🏆 4th | 25% | NZ$2,500 | 🎰 200 | NZ$20 | 40x (bonus only) | NZ5,000+NZ300 | VEGAS4 |
While the overall bonus cap is high, the match percentage drops with each subsequent deposit, and you’re getting just a 25% match with your 4th deposit.
Betting bonuses
In addition to the casino bonus, I was also offered a sports betting bonus. I could only choose one of these offers, and while I went with the casino bonus, the sports betting offer is still worth a look if you prefer rugby to roulette and want some free bets to get things underway.
| Offers and requirements | Terms |
| Sports bonus | ⚽️ 100% up to NZ$200 in free bets |
| Minimum deposit | NZ$20 |
| Qualifying bets | NZ$20 or more at odds of at least 2.00 |
| Wagering requirements | None |
| Free bet expiration | 7 days |
Other bonuses
I was swamped with bonus offers at Vegas Now casino. The site runs regular casino-specific events and network events, including giveaways, weekly cash rewards, and reload bonuses.
There’s also a loyalty programme open to all new players, whereby you move through various levels, collecting free spins and bonus offers on the way. If you make it to the final level, you’ll receive a free holiday with spending money. However, it takes 5 million XP to get there.
If it’s within reach for you, check out the Diamond Club, an invitation-only programme with cashback and other VIP perks.
Bonus conditions
I mentioned some of the contribution requirements above, and these apply to all Vegas Now casino bonuses. You’ll face a 40x wagering requirement on most bonuses and should avoid playing live games and table games. Here are some other key terms to consider:
- Pokie contribution: Pokies are the only games that count 100%, but even then, I found many pokies that are excluded completely.
- Bonus withdrawal: I was able to request a withdrawal of my real funds at any time, even while a bonus was active. However, it always used my cash balance before switching to my bonus funds, so my real funds disappeared quickly.
- Time limits: Most bonuses gave me 7 days to use bonus funds/free spins and clear wagering requirements.
- Max win: The NZ$5,000 max win for the welcome bonus also applies to most other casino bonuses. However, theterms notethatthemaxwindropstojustNZ200 for no-deposit bonuses.
Licence
Vegas Now casino operates under a Curaçao eGaming licence (OGL/2024/164/0246), granted to its operator, Just Entertainment. It’s an offshore casino that accepts NZ players.
Safety
I also found many other casinos operated by the same company. On its own, it doesn’t necessarily prove that this site is legitimate, but it certainly makes me feel better about the brand as a player. What’s more, the established operator, strict safety protocols, and Curaçao licence mean I know I’m dealing with a secure and legitimate casino.
One of the major downsides for me is the lack of responsible gambling tools. There is a responsible gambling page, but instead of self-assessments, it lists generic information. What’s more, I couldn’t find any responsible gambling tools in my account and was told I would need to contact support to self-exclude.
I tried to do just that, only to be told that live chat was too busy and, therefore, was not available.
The operator is very clear about how it uses player information and promises to keep everything safe and protected, as per its Privacy Policy. Vegas Now also uses state-of-the-art SSL and certified RNGs.
Game selection
Vegas Now has a massive collection of casino games, listing over 14,000 in total. These span pokies, table games, and live casino games from major developers like Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Evolution, Betsoft, and Blueprint.

Pokies
Unsurprisingly, most of Vegas Now’s games are pokies. It regularly updates its list and is constantly introducing new titles. So, I expect its list to grow considerably in the near future.
- Jackpot pokies: Vegas Now offers most major progressive jackpot systems, including Mega Moolah, Age of the Gods, WOWPOT, and Jackpot King. There are over 5,300 pokies in the jackpot section, including fixed jackpot pokies and progressives like Mega Moolah The Witch’s Moon and 9 Blazing Diamonds WOWPOT.
- Megaways pokies: Vegas Now has a large selection of Megaways pokies, including some of my favourites from Blueprint Gaming. There is no dedicated category for these games, but as all Megaways pokies include the feature in the game name, I could find them simply by typing “Megaways” into the search bar.
- Themed pokies: Vegas Now covers most themes. The most popular pokies follow historical periods such as ancient Greece, the Wild West, and ancient Egypt, but there are also many animal pokies, branded pokies, fruit pokies, and fishing pokies.
For such a huge selection, I was surprised that Vegas Now casino had so few categories and filter options. An extra menu or filter would have made a massive difference.
Live casino
Vegas Now’s live casino comes courtesy of Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech, and Evolution, with smaller providers like ICONIC21 and Imaginelive adding more variety.
The live casino section is massive, with seemingly endless selections of classic table games, as well as standout live game shows like Color Game Bonanza, Monopoly Big Baller, and Lightning Storm, all found under the “It’s Showtime!” section.

Other games
I found all of Vegas Now’s “other” games under its “Instant Win” section, where it includes everything from crash games like Aviator to virtual scratchcards, keno, bingo, and other instant-win games. There were over 700, so even this additional section is well-stocked with titles.
There’s also a “table games” section. I found the selection to be modest at best, but that’s true for most online casinos. If you like RNG games, you’ll find what you need here.
Vegas Now RTPs
Vegas Now claims an RTP range of 95%-98%. I checked a handful of games and found that many of the pokies I checked were around 94%-96%, putting it close to this range.
Of course, there are thousands of pokies, and I couldn’t check them all, so I have no reason to doubt the casino’s claim.
Sports betting
The Vegas Now sportsbook covers major and minor sports, including football, basketball, cricket, rugby league, and rugby union. I could place live bets on most markets via its “In-Play” section, and there’s also a straightforward bet slip, with options for single bets and various multiples.
Major football betting markets are a good test, and I found an average of over 400 bet types for each game, including handicaps, totals markets, prop bets, bookings, and classics like Both Teams to Score.
How to register at Vegas Now Casino
I signed up for a Vegas Now account in less than a minute, with no verification requested until later. Here’s how:
Visit:
Click the links on this page to visit Vegas Now.
Join:
Select the “Join Now” button at the top of the screen.
Information:
Enter your name, password, country, currency, DOB, and phone number.
Sign Up:
Confirm you’re over 18 and then click “Sign Up”.
How to verify your account
Although I didn’t have to verify straight away, it’s still good practice to get it out of the way:
- Click the menu icon and choose “Profile”.
- Select the “Verification” tab.
- Upload identity documents (such as a passport).
- Upload proof of address (such as a utility bill).
- If you use a debit/credit card, upload a photo of your card.
Customer service
Vegas Now has live chat, but as noted previously, it’s not always available. I could also get in touch via email, but I wasn’t given any other options.
Live chat is effective when it works. In fact, I tried later and got through in just a few minutes, but most of the time, I saw warnings stating they were “receiving a high volume of questions”, and live chat was unavailable.
Deposits and withdrawals

All deposits must be wagered at least 3x before they can be withdrawn, and in addition to the payment-specific withdrawal limits mentioned below, there is also a NZ$6,000 daily withdrawal limit that jumps to NZ$12,000 per week and NZ$42,000 per month.
Vegas Now doesn’t charge fees, but you may be charged fees by your provider. Also, it didn’t let me withdraw using Visa/Mastercard. This could have been an issue with my specific account, but I wasn’t able to confirm this via live chat.
